According to Ira Kauffman of the Tampa Tribune, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have no interest in signing running back Tiki Barber once he’s released from the New York Giants. We had reported earlier today that Tiki‘s short list of teams that he’d like to play for are the Buccaneers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now it seems that his list has been cut down to one team, the Steelers.
The Buccaneers organization would rather continue it’s youth movement and stay away from a 36 year old running back that won’t have much to offer a team that proved it’s a playoff contender in 2010. Not to mention they have plenty of depth with LaGarrette Blount, Kregg Lumpkin and Ernest Graham.
