Tiki Barber and his agent Mark Lepselter went on the radio with Mike Francesa of WFAN. Besides getting into an argument with Francesa, both Barber and his agent believe they know where Tiki will be headed once the NFL lockout is over and the New York Giants release him. It’s a very entertaining interview that I would encourage everyone to listen to in its entirety.
Francesa asked Lepselter how many teams were seriously interested in signing Barber.
“As far as seirous interest I would say two,” said Lepselter. “But i can tell you that we feel we know where were going and that team we feel that were going to I’ve had conversations with accordingly.”
Lepselter also said that back in April when the NFL lockout was lifted for one day he was able to talk with many teams. He made it clear that he didn’t make contact with any teams until he got approval from the Giants and the league so there wouldn’t be any issues with tempering.
Since Lepselter has come out and said that they know where Tiki is headed, I wonder if it’s the Pittsburgh Steelers.
